Orchid is delighted to be continuing their partnership with Bawbags Underwear, a company that was set up in 2007 with the aim to keep the nations ‘baws’ tidy and raise money for charity at the same time. Bawbags has donated a fantastic £25,000 to Orchid to date which has been raised through sales of their brightly coloured underwear.
Bawbags have focussed their charitable support on Orchid because of the synergy between their underwear brand and the work Orchid does. As well as raising vital funds Bawbags are aiming to help raise awareness of testicular cancer through messages on their website, on their packaging and via media exposure.
Orchid’s Chief Executive said “Over 50,000 men in the UK will be diagnosed with prostate, testicular or penile cancer over the next 12 months. With incidents of male cancer on the increase there has never been a greater need for Orchid to offer support, information and advice to men and their families. We are extremely grateful to the fantastic Bawbags team and their many customers for their continued support and generosity. It makes such a difference to so many lives”.
