Transparency about how we use your donations

  • We value every gift and we will always put your gift to work as quickly as we can.
  • We spend donations so they have the most impact for men and their families affected by or at risk of a male cancer.

Respect for your privacy and your generosity

We collect personal information from you when you make a donation, purchase or request our products and materials, when you contact us or otherwise provide us with personal details. The personal information we collect may include your name, date of birth, contact information, your preferences and interests and credit/debit card details. By providing us with your personal details, you give your consent for your personal data to be processed and used for:

  • Helping us identify you and any previous donations you have made to us.
  • Administering any donations you have made i.e. Gift Aid if applicable and providing you with information, products or services you have requested from us.

Your personal information is not shared with third parties or used in any other way (other than described here or as required by law) unless you agree.

Marketing and opting out

Unless you have asked us not to do so we may contact you by a number of channels including mail, telephone and email with information that we believe may be of interest to you, including updates on the work that we are doing, new services, events and fundraising activities and donation requests. We will make it clear and easy for you to choose how you hear from us. If you ask us not to contact you we won’t, unless it’s a legal requirement.

Data Protection Act

We adhere to our responsibilities as a ‘data controller’ under the Data Protection Act 1998 and we always endeavour to ensure that all personal information we collect and use will always be held, used, transferred in accordance to the procedures set out in the Act and other applicable data protection regulations.

Best practice

We will always strive for best practice in fundraising and are members of Fundraising Standards Board.
