Dr Yong-JieDr Lu works in a field of research which, with advances in genetics and molecular biology, has become one of the most rapidly expanding and ground-breaking medical specialties. Dr Lu has been based at the Barts Cancer Institute, London, since 2003, originally as a Senior Lecturer, and as Reader since 2010. His research, in partnership with Orchid since 2003, has contributed to the International Cancer Genome Consortium, (ICGC) which coordinates large-scale cancer genome studies and brings together the world’s leading cancer and genomic researchers.
