Mr Manit Arya MBChB, MD (Res), FRCS (Urol)
Mr Arya completed his undergraduate medical training at the University of Manchester in 1992 and has been based in the South East since 1999 when he took up a post as a Senior House Officer in urology at the Institute of Urology and Nephrology, University College London. Since 2010, Mr Arya has been a locum consultant in uro-oncology at University College Hospital, London. He works as part of a multidisciplinary team in the management of patients with urological cancer, particularly prostate cancer, using minimally invasive interventional techniques such as high intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) as part of a focal therapy or whole gland treatment plan.
His previous appointments have included fellowships at King’s College Hospital and at University College Hospital. He has also had previous sub-specialist experience in major oncological surgery at the Royal Free Hospital, London. Orchid is supporting Mr Arya’s research into penile cancer.
