People pledge gifts in their Will to Orchid for many reasons.

For some, it’s a dedication to someone who has survived.  For others it’s a tribute to a loved one they have lost to penile, testicular or prostate cancer.

Whatever your reason, your gift will leave a lasting legacy in saving men’s lives.

All legacies are gratefully recieved and mean we can continue our work in supported everyone affected by male-specific cancers.

Gifts in your Will are not subject to inheritance tax as Orchid is a charity.

Different Ways to Leave a Legacy

Residual Legacy: This is a donation of the remainder, or a percentage of the remainder, of your estate after all debts, taxes, expenses and other bequests have been made.

Pecuniary Legacy: This is the donation of a fixed sum specified by you.

Specific Legacy: You may like to leave Orchid a personal possession or asset such as a work or art, property, or stocks and shares.

Revisionary Legacy: This is a good way to protect the interests of your loved ones first. You would leave your assets to a specified beneficiary to enjoy during their lifetime, with the whole or a portion of your assets passing to Orchid on their death.

Already have a Will?

Another way to update your existing will to include a legacy gift is to complete a Codicil. This is a simple legal document which allows you to make changes to your existing will, such as to add a gift to Orchid, without you needing to write a new will.
