Every runner needs to run the route of the original Marathon; the run of the soldier Pheidippides, who in 490 BC ran from Marathon to Athens to bring news of the victory over the Persians at the Battle of Marathon. The course finishes in the legendary stadium where the first Olympic games of the modern era in 1896 took place, you now have the chance to run this unique and truly memorable marathon route.
