Get Involved in Orchid Male Cancer Awareness Week 2020

Orchid Male Cancer Awareness Week is an annual campaign to raise awareness of male-specific cancers. This year it runs from 28 September to 4 October and focuses on the value of checking for early sign or symptoms, and the importance of getting checked out by your GP if you have any concerns. This year’s campaign comes during the coronavirus pandemic. We know from calls to our helpline that this is having an impact, with many men reluctant to access services, whether because they want to protect NHS resources or because they are concerned about the risks of doing so. That’s why our campaign message about getting checked out is so timely. We want as many people as possible to get that message. So we’re asking organisations and individuals who support our aims to get behind the campaign.
