Orchid is delighted to announce the renaming of The Orchid Research Tissue Bank as The Robert Lane Tissue Bank in memory of Robert Lane CBE, Orchid’s Chair of Trustees.
Robert’s family, colleagues from CMS Cameron McKenna, Orchid Trustees and guests gathered together on 27th September at the Barts Cancer Institute to hear Professors Dan Berney and Yong-Jie Lu and their teams talk about the work of the Tissue Bank and explain what their research means for patients. Designating the Tissue Bank as The Robert Lane Tissue Bank recognises Robert’s tremendous contribution as an Orchid Trustee for 12 years, 6 of which were as Chair.
