The programme

This is a two-year, nurse led initiative to raise the profile of penile cancer in the UK and improve support for anyone who has been affected by the disease.

Orchid is engaging with GPs, nurses, pharmacists, and other allied healthcare professionals to raise awareness of penile cancer, providing them with information for distribution and display, as well as working with staff at regional treatment centres to enhance support.

The programme has a regular, online, forum for specialist nurses and a virtual support group for the wives, partners and husbands of penile cancer patients. In addition in 2025, as part of the programme we will be facilitating regular online support sessions for patients and advocates.
