Over the last few years we have spoken to many men who have been affected by penile cancer and the lack of awareness of the disease has always been a prime concern for them. With a lack of awareness may come a delay in diagnosis and as a result potentially more invasive, life changing treatment.
Raising awareness of penile cancer remains at the heart of Orchid’s awareness and education programme.
All funds raised will go to support our work in penile cancer including world class research, education and a range of support services.
Although this has been created as a fun event we aim to convey a much more serious message to the general public; that penile cancer needs to be given the same awareness and understanding as other more common cancers.
